Cruise the Douro on a Luxury Yacht

On this tour, you will cruise in a luxurous yacht to visit the most renowned Port and Douro wineries and savor the most delicious meals of this stunning region.

Day 1: Arrival to Portugal: Porto to Régua

  • Welcome to Portugal. After airport formalities (Porto Airport), you will be collected outside customs, and transferred, by Deluxe vehicle with English speaking Chauffeur to Douro Marina.
  • 09:30 - Check-in and Boarding at Douro Marina quay Departure to Régua.
  • Arrival at Crestuma-Lever Dam (sluice rises 14 m).
  • Free lunch
  • Arrival at Carrapatelo Dam (sluice rises 35 m).
  • Arrival at Régua
  • Dinner at Castas & Pratos Restaurant. Results from the creative forces of Edgar Gouveia and Manuel Osório. Thus was born Castas e Pratos, a restaurant located in a historic space, in the old warehouses of CP, the Portuguese Railways, in Régua, that have been luxuriously renovated
  • Accommodation aboard of the boat

Day 2: Régua – Pinhão

  • Wake up to the beautiful Douro landscape and recharge your batteries with a fantastic breakfast served on board
  • 10:00 Boarding at Régua quay
  • Régua dam (sluice rises 28 m)
  • Arrival at Pinhão.

You will enjoy a three-course lunch, at Quinta de La Rosa. Quinta de La Rosa was built in an unusual location, on a hill with steep stairs that connect the different levels beside the Douro River. Here the Bergqvist family has been making Port wine since 1815. The Quinta de La Rosa estate was offered as baptism gift to Claire Feuheerd, Sophia's grandmother, in 1906.

  • Visit the vineyards and taste the wine of Quinta de La Rosa. There are 11 separate vineyards here, spread, along the banks of the Douro River and up to an altitude of 400 meters.

Day 3: Pinhão – Ferradosa – Pocinho

  • Breakfast served on board
  • 09:30 Depart from Pinhão quay viewing the Valeira dam (upstream)
  • Arrival at Ferradosa.

Transfer to “Côa Museum”  located on one of the slopes where the Douro and the Côa rivers meet, the Côa Museum exposes you to cave art, from the Palaeolithic era. Expert gides in all-road vehicles will show you this special area.

Day 4: Pocinho – Pinhão

  • Breakfast served on board
  • 10:00  Departure from Pocinho quay
  • Pocinho dam (downstream)
  • Arrival at Senhora da Ribeira.

  • Arrival at Pinhão.
  • Visit Quinta Nova Luxury Winery House "one of the nine must-see wineries in the world".  Precisely 250 years ago, the winery Quinta Nova, was harvesting their first grapes.  You will visit in detail all production of wines, the vineyard, the winery of 1764, the underground wine cellar and end your visit with a tasting of 3 wines in the store.
  • Dinner at Conceitus Restaurant. Indulge yourself with the delicacies of Chef José Pinto in one of Portugals top restaurants

Day 5: Pinhão – Régua

  • Breakfast served on board
  • 10:00  Departure from Pocinho quay
  • Régua dam (downstream)
  • Stop at Régua. Lunch at Quinta da Pacheca which keeps the true essence of traditional Portuguese cuisine. Famous throughout the Douro region, makes the restaurant of Quinta da Pacheca serves delicious gourmet dishes that are perfectly harmonized with the award-winning wines of Quinta da Pacheca, making the meals a unique experience.
  • Visit and wine tasting at Quinta da Pacheca Winery. Quinta da Pacheca, one of the most known properties of the Douro, stands out for having been the first to bottle wine under its own brand.
  • Enjoy the beauty of the Six Senses Douro Valley Resort, touched by the romance of the 19th century architecture this is the ultimate wine and SPA experience of the Douro,
  • Dinner at Six Senses Restaurant. Enjoy a fantastic unique Chef's Table experience.  Join a small group at a 10 courses meal that is prepared and hosted by the Chef, right before your eyes.

Day 6: Régua – Porto

  • Dinner is waiting for you at Decastro Gaia Restaurant. A place for tasting, where wines are matched with Portuguese snacks under the guidance of renowned Chef Miguel Castro Silva. You will enjoy a Sunset Port Cocktail in the rooftop with 360º views over the Port Cellars and Douro River and Dinner at the Restaurant.
